FBNYC Tip S %# t: Job Postings

So, for the fast four months I have been unemployed from fashion design. Of course I was keeping myself busy with this blog, personal projects, and a freelance fashion writing gig at DailyMail. Well I will be reentering the full time grind again next week in design. I’m sure plenty of you creatives out there know how difficult it is to find a full time or freelance job that will not only feed your creativity, but get a decent amount of cash in your pockets. 

I wanted to share some great gigs that I have come across through my Alma Matter ( FIT stand up!) because they have  jobs that are not posted throughout the Internet. Martha Stewart 

Work with Executive Editorial Directors and Design Directors to assist with developing thematic holiday visions and designs. Provide research and create original designs and artwork. Assists in the creation of design presentations for future collections and new business proposals

Includes, but not limited to: 
• Assists in the development of holiday concept boards and design concepts according to merchandise plans and schedules for all collections. Purchases market samples, compiles inspiration references, renders technical drawings, and provides match samples, where applicable. 
• Cultivates a strong understanding of holiday, seasonal and gifting businesses, as well as industry trends in holiday and specific product cost factors. Stays abreast of the retail landscape for trend and product opportunities.
